Sharon wants to share
the magical, romantic, creative world that the
South of France has to offer.
Let's dive into the world of bookmaking and explore the South of France. You'll create at least two beautiful handmade artist books to take back home with you.
Get ready for an exciting treasure hunt as Sharon will share some of her off the beaten path places for you to find your own treasures. We will also visit the local markets and vide greniers. Sharon will also be sharing her unique finds from her French studio to inspire your projects. This is a creative adventure you won’t want to miss! We will also be using encaustic medium to enhance our books.
One very unique bonus of this retreat is that you will be provided with all of the tools and materials that you need to create your artwork. No need to worry about packing any tools or a supply list for your projects, unless of course you want to! You are also welcome to incorporate any of your found treasures that you may find on this adventure.
Sharon's workshops include techniques to encourage and expand creativity and to discover your own unique sensibility.
We will be practicing various mixed media techniques From Sharon.
All experience levels are welcome!

This incredible, once (maybe twice) in a lifetime experience will include:
* Lodging in authentically decorated French chambre at La Cascade
(Offering your own room this year, bathrooms are shared)
*Fresh and delicious meals and beverages are included
(7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 6 Dinners, meals are family style and dinner is served with wine)
*Welcome aperitif at 5pm Thursday, September 24th, 2026
*Tuition for workshop and studio time with Sharon.
(including use of tools, supplies and open studio time)
*Sharon will be your guide to local excursions, outings, wanderings and
meanderings around the French countryside.
*Sharon will have a van to chauffeur us around to our outings.
* Shuttle available once each way from and to the Toulouse airport is INCLUDED. The beauty of this is that all you have to do is get to the Toulouse airport and you will be taken care of from there.
